Aeronautics days: the wings of the City 2021

3rd Edition From 9.00 am to 4.00 pm

The Tunis Science City organizes the 3rd session of the Aeronautics Days on the 22nd and 23rd of December 2021 which are dedicated to the large public, particularly youngsters, in partnership with the Ministry of National Defense; the Tunisian Association Aeronautics, and in collaboration with : TUNISAIR GROUP : Tunisair Technics and Tunisair Express; the Civil Aviation and Airports Office (OACA); the Tunisian Federation of Airline Pilots (FTPL); the Tunisian Association of Air Traffic Controllers (ATCCA); the National Society of Plants Protection (SONAPROV); the National Institute of Meteorology (INM); « Ciel pour Tous » Association (CPT); the Tunisian Federation of Aeronautics and Aeromodelling (FTAA); and with the participation of the Tunisian Association of Aeronautics Information Managers (ATGIA); the Aviation Training Center of Tunisia (ATCT); the African Association for the Geospatial Promotion (AGEOS); the Safe Flight Academy (SFA); the Tunisian Association of Air traffic Electronics Experts (ATENA) ; and the Higher Institute of Aeronautics and Technologies (ESAT).

During these days, two main events will be celebrated: the first one is the International Day of Civil Aviation (celebrated worldwide each year on the 7th of December), and the second one is the commemoration of the first intercontinental flight of Roland Garros, from Tunis to Rome, on the 18th of December 1912.

The Tunis Science City, in collaboration with different actors in the field of aeronautics such as public and private institutions, clubs and associations of the civil society, act together and separately for the promotion and diffusion of the scientific culture, and innovation in the aeronautics field for the benefit of the large public.

The programme of the days includes conferences which will be presented by professionals working in this field, an Aero-Film contest, gliding competitions for students of engineering schools, scientific workshops, exhibitions and booths, a show of drones and plane models, sessions of plane simulators, and many others surprise activities on the course of being planned!!

Within the framework of this event, the Tunis Science City and the Tunisian Association of Aeronautics will organize a post covid-19 International Aviation Workshop, dedicated to the professionals working in the aeronautics field.
