Astronomy evening at the Tunis Science City about exoplanets

from 16-10-2021 to 16-10-2021

From 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm

Are we alone in the universe? Is there any form of life elsewhere than on Earth? These questions have never ceased to plague humanity. Astronomers discover regularly new planets outside the Solar System, which can possibly host life forms. Today, this scientific search continues to evolve and has a considerable importance. Searching for an extraterrestrial life is always an obsession and a passion for many scientists and neophytes.

To explore the possibility of the existence of an extraterrestrial life, the Tunis Science City organizes an astronomy evening in collaboration with the Astronomical Society of Tunisia (SAT) on October 16th, 2021 from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm.

The programme includes a conference entitled "The Exoplanets", a workshop dedicated to the use of the Stellarium software and the observation of the giant planets Saturn and Jupiter with telescopes.

Free access.
