The Tunis Science City organizes, on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, in collaboration with the Tunisian Association of Sufi Studies "SAFA", a Ramadan evening dedicated to Sufism.

 

The programme of this evening includes scientific lectures, which will be presented  by Pr. Taoufik Ben Ameur, specialized in the Arab and Islamic Civilization, about the origin of Sufism, its different practices, and on the most influential and well known Sufis. It also includes readings of Jalāl al Dīn Rūmī', Ibn Arabi, Al Hallaj and Rabia Al Adaouias's poems, as well as rhythmic mystical songs by the ISAOUIA troupe of Sidi Bou Said.

 

Pr. Riadh Ben Rejeb, Professor of Clinical Psychopathology at the University of Tunis and member of the Psychoanalytical Society of Paris, will give a lecture on "Spirituality as an element of psychological balance".

 

This evening is open to the large public with an offered tasting of traditional Tunisian desserts.
