At Ibn Khaldoun Auditorium
The Tunis Science City celebrated on Sunday, April 21st, 2019 the World Earth Day. This day aimed at reminding the large public about the matters related to our planet like for example the types of pollution, climatic changes, energy resources etc. It was animated by five lectures. The first one was entitled “Geology and climatic changes” and was presented by Dr. Zohra EL ASMI DJALLOULI, Director of the Higher Institute of Heritage Skills of Tunis. The second one was entitled “Renewable energies for energy saving and a clean environment” and was presented by Pr. Beya OUERTANI, from the Higher Institute of Sciences and Technology of Environment of Borj Cedria. The following one was entitled “Biological Earth…a real challenge” and was given by Mr. Slim CHERNY from the Tunisian company of biological fertilizers. The fourth lecture was entitled “Socio-environmental study of lime kilns in the Region of Zaghouan” and was presented by Pr. Hassen DBOUBA from the Higher Institute of Technological Studies of Zaghouan. And Finally, the last lecture was entitled “My duty towards climatic changes” and was given by Mrs. Radhia LOUHICHI, from Children of Earth Network Association. The programme of the day also included a documentary projection entitled “Collectors” from the Association Amel GHIZEN, and an exhibition around the theme of “Rocks and precious minerals” from the Tunisian Association of Geo-scientific Women.
