Women and girls of the Tunisian scientific community play a great role in the development and innovation of diverse scientific and technical fields. The presence of women in the Tunisian university is nearly equal or superior to that of men who study, teach, and make research studies. In order to better highlight the challenges that confront Tunisian and women girls in the scientific research field, and to value the professional career of women researches in diverse fields, the Tunis Science City celebrated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on Sunday, February 10th, 2019, at Ibn Khaldoun Auditorium.
