Within the framework of the world space week, the Tunis Science City organized, on Saturday, October 27, 2018, the space day. On this occasion two lectures were given by well-known Tunisian researchers. The first one is entitled "Nanosatellites: the revolution of CubeSats", and was given by Pr. Kamel BESBES, Director of the Centre for Research in microelectronics and nanotechnology of Sousse. The second one is entitled "Space strategy in Tunisia", and was given by Pr. Zohra Lili Chabaane, remote detection, SIG and water resources management, department of rural engineering, water and forests at the National Institute of agronomy of Tunisia. This day was also animated by workshops around space themes, such as “Rockets: actions and reactions” (Tunisian Association of Young Astronomers, TAYA) and “Artificial satellites: orbits and missions”(Tunis Science City). In addition, two exhibitions entitled "Space, how does it work?" and "A walk over waves" were presented to the public.
