Alzheimer's disease is a brain disorder that slowly destroys memory and thinking skills and eventually the ability to perform even the simple tasks in everyday life.
Experts agree that in the majority of cases, Alzheimer's disease, like other common chronic diseases, probably develops as a result of complex interactions between several factors, including age, genetics, environment, and lifestyle and co-existing medical conditions.
Even though there is currently no effective cure for Alzheimer's disease, studies proved that certain lifestyle choices can help support brain health and prevent Alzheimer's disease.
The Tunis Science City organized an awareness about Alzheimer's disease, in partnership with the Alzheimer Association of Tunisia, on Friday, September 23rd, 2022.
