Autism spectrum disorders are diseases characterised by their clinical and etiopathogenic heterogeneity. The concept of autism has been considerably treated and studied over time, leading to the inclusion of different severe forms of it in terms of symptoms and associated disorders.
In Tunisia, the percentage is relatively important compared to a small population. About 6 persons among 100 are suffering from these disorders.
In order to raise the public awareness about this health disorder, professionals working in this field and child psychiatrists will give lectures during this day, which will be celebrated by the Tunis Science City on April 1st, 2022 through a rich programme including lectures with debated tackling different themes such as the neurological causes of autism, the early detection, and the care and the role of new technologies in the treatment of autism.
