Scientists estimate that there are presently 10.000.000 animal species on Earth. Only 10% of these species are known and recorded. With this number and variety of species, it is difficult to learn more about them without classification. In fact, we can group them according to their movement mode, reproduction mode, or their diets. But scientists have opted for another special classification which shows the genetic relationship between the species called the phylogenetic classification.
