The ecliptic plane is the plane of the Earth’s orbit. Each planet of the Solar System has an orbit in the ecliptic plane. During this astronomy evening we dealt with planet Pluto. This planet was reclassified as “dwarf planet” in 2006. Its orbital inclination plane is 17° in relation to the ecliptic plane.
