Celebration of the World Mental Health Day

Mental health is the result of a complex interaction between multiple and interdependent biological, psychological, familial, social and hereditary factors.

On the occasion of the celebration of the World Mental Health Day, the Tunis Science City organized, on Friday, October 12, a series of lectures. The programme included lectures as follows:

- “Environmental determinants and mental health”, by Dr. Rym Ghachem Attia, head of service at Razi Hospital

- “Determinants of child and adolescent mental health”, By Dr. Soumeyya Halayem, associate professor at the child psychiatrist service of Razi Hospital and Dr. Malek Hajri, assistant at university hospital.

- “Psychotherapies actualities”, by Dr. Rabaa Jomli, aggregated senior associate in psychiatry at the Tunis Faculty of Medicine, and psychiatrist at the psychiatry service of Razi Hospital.

To live and enjoy life, the human being needs to live with good physical and mental health conditions. That is why this celebration was an invitation for a social and collective reflection, which contributes to our well-being and our mental health.
