This issue of El Madar  published under the title “the Mediterranean Tunisia at the crossroads of history“includes a number of articles written by a group of researchers and historians about the famous Tunisian Scientists during the period between the 8th and the 15th century. This issue was published on the occasion of the celebration in Tunisia of the 600th anniversary of the death of the sociologist Abderrahman Ibn Khaldoun.
