Food safety and sustainable agriculture

To ensure a sustainable development applied to agriculture, a moderate consumption of key resources like for example soil, nutrients and water, is required. Man’s duty is to ensure the increasing of resources in order to produce foodstuffs and provide a long term usage. If resources become rare, food security could be endangered. Fundamental elements, such as climatic change, energy and degraded agricultural soils may complicate this challenge.
