The Tunis Science City played host to the school of marine chemistry and its applications, from November 30 to December 3. The event got French and Maghrebean researchers together. It was an opportunity for all of them to discover about one another's work and to network with other colleagues. The purpose was to highlight the contribution of chemistry in the marine biology. It is worth noting that this event was jointly organized by the CNRS (INC), the Université Paris-Est Marne-La-Vallée, the Faculté des Sciences de Tunis, the Université de Tunis El Manar, the Institut Préparatoire aux Etudes Scientifiques et Techniques de la Marsa (molecular physical and chemistry research unit), the Université de Carthage and the Institut National des Sciences et Technologies de la Mer.
