Student creativity festival
The City of Sciences in Tunis is an institution in charge of disseminating and promoting the culture of science and innovation among the different categories of people around the Tunisian territory within the framework of a national policy aiming at promoting a society and economy based on knowledge.
The City of Sciences in Tunis partly embodies openness and synergy with the education system, and the higher education through the creation of knowledge bridges aiming not only at building a national scientific culture based on collaborative spirit and participatory approach, but also at promoting the contribution of local science to a sustainable socio- economic development of Tunisia.
As part of its itinerant programme, and on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the University of Kairouan , a considerable number of the City of Science in Tunis ‘s staff will move to animate the student creativity festival with various equipment covering a mosaic of scientific themes from April 24 to April 26, 2024 within the premises of the University of Kairouan. The programme will include an exhibition of mathematics containing interactive and funny hands-on exhibits on several mathematical themes and concepts, scientific workshops in biology and environment, superconductors, astronomy etc, screening sessions of digital scientific shows at the itinerant mini-planetarium, and an astronomy evening scheduled on April 25 during which a lecture about lunar phases will be presented along with sky observations with telescopes.
Pupils, students and the large public are warmly invited to visit and discover the activities of the City of Sciences in Tunis on the occasion of the student creativity festival at the premises of the University of Kairouan and celebrate together this special scientific event!
