30 years of science dissemination! Let’s celebrate the past, assess the present ...to progress for the future! Throughout the past thirty years, the Tunis Science City has accomplished different missions and has faced many challenges. It is built around an antic basin called Abou Fehr, built by the Hafsid Sultan Abû Abd Allah al- Mustansir al Hafsi (1249-1277). The Tunis Science City has forged its own identity, notably its historical symbolism and has followed the development in all scientific and technological disciplines. The Tunis Science City invites the large public to the celebration of its 30 th anniversary during the 21 st , 22 nd , 23 rd and 24 th of December 2022. A rich and varied programme combining culture and science has been elaborated for the public. Indeed, different activities related to different themes will be part of the programme and dedicated for all to celebrate together an institution with a noble mission consisting of the diffusion of knowledge, whose challenges are mainly to upgrade the activities to reach the international standards in the field of scientific diffusion. This programme is composed of the aeronautics days (conferences, competitions, workshops, exhibitions), conferences on the important value of the archeological site “The gardens of the Hafside Dynasty” with a guided tour of the site; testimonies of the TSC’s builders, testimonies of national and international partners of the TSC, displaying of the documentary produced on the occasion of the 30 th anniversary of the TSC, exhibition “The City under construction”, exhibition gathering the partners of the TSC, and an astronomy evening, along with a musical show. Different new workshops are also part of the programme. As usual, many guests and visitors are expected to come.
