"By the Moonlight" From 9.00 pm to 11.00 pm

On the occasion of the spring equinox, the City of Sciences in Tunis organizes on Saturday, March 23, 2024, an astronomy evening during Ramadan under the theme “By the moonlight”.

The programme of this special evening includes:

• A conference entitled  “the Moon” explaining the mysteries and fascinating characteristics of our natural satellite, the moon, and the upcoming moon landings;
• A conference entitled “The equinoxes” explaining the relative movements of celestial bodies and their influence on seasons and astronomical phenomena;
• Observations of the Moon and the giant planet Jupiter with telescopes;
• A breathtaking journey through the cosmos with a stellar tourism show, exploring stars and the vastness of the universe;
• Musical shows.
