Venue: Temporary Exhibition Pavilion

The celebration of the International Day of Light coincides with the anniversary of the first successful operation of the laser in 1960 done by physicist Theodore MAIMAN. It is an opportunity to shed light on the role of light in the fields of science, sustainable development, education, as well as culture and arts.

In this context, the City of Sciences in Tunis (CST) celebrates this day in partnership with the Tunisian Society of Optics and the Tunisian Photography Club. The event will take place on Sunday, May 21 st , 2023, from 9.30 am to 2.00 pm at the Temporary Exhibition Pavilion of the City of Sciences in Tunis.

The program includes various activities dedicated to the large public, especially students, including scientific and interactive workshops, demonstrations, along with an art exhibition. Open and free access.
