Meteorites in Morocco and Arab countries

from 30-11-2019 to 30-11-2019

While crossing the atmosphere, the surface of the meteorites becomes hot, they melt, and then vaporize. Reaching a particular height, this phenomenon ceases to recur. By the way, the ones which touch the soil are all under the form of a kind of crust made of specific mergers completely different from terrestrial rocks. Thus, in order to broaden our knowledge about meteorites, the Tunis Science City (TSC), organized on Saturday, November 30th, 2019, in partnership with the Faculty of Science of Tunis, the Tunisian Association of Young Astronomers (TAYA) and Association of Jeunes Sciences of Tunisia (AJST), a lecture entitled “Meteorites in Morocco and Arab countries” and it was given by Pr. Hasnaa CHENNAOUI, Professor at the Hassan II University of Casablanca, expert in impact meteorites craters.
