The Tunis science city, in collaboration with the committee of organization of “Sfax, the capital of Arabic culture 2016” and the Tunisian Medical Society of History of Medicine and Pharmacy, played host to an exhibition about the theme of Arabic surgery from May 24 to June 26. This exhibition is designed by Dr. Ahmed Dhieb, professor in orthopedic and traumatology surgery and doctor in human anthropology. It is composed of panoply of paintings illustrating different scenes in relation with medicine and different instruments used by Arabs in surgery between the 8th and the 15th century.
