Robotics and computing are presently two main fields in full expansion. Within this framework, the Tunis Science City will launch two new clubs: ACA Robotics and software engineering for juniors, in partnership with ACAROBOTICS Start –Up. During Saturdays afternoons and Sundays mornings, participants will have the opportunity to create mini robotics projects and to be initiated to Scratch and AppInventor or to Python and WordPress. These trainings are supported by training manuals and robotics kits. Children aged between 8 and 12 years old, as well as youngsters aged between 13 and 17 years old can visit the Tunis Science City and discover an academic technology conceived to insure the assimilation of different academic disciplines through technological projects. Those who are interested by the clubs must fill in the registration form available at the Tunis Science City’s welcoming desk and choose the timetable at their convenience according to the following details:
1/ Participants to the club of software engeneering for juniors will attend one hour and a half by week each Saturday afternoon (children 8-12: from 2.00 pm to 3.30, youngsters 13-17: from 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm).
2/Participants to ACA Robotics club will attend one hour and a half by week each Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning
-Saturday afternoon:
8-12 YO: from 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm
13-17 YO: from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm
-Sunday morning:
8-12 YO: from 10.00 am to 11.30 am or 12.00 pm to 1.30 pm
13-17 YO: from 10.00 am to 11.30 am or 12.00 pm to 1.30 pm
The clubs will start the activity on November 7th and 8th, 2020. The number of places is limited.
