World Environment Day
Wednesday, June 16th, 2021
From 9.30 am to 1.00 pm
At Al Khawarizmi auditorium
Since the use of fire by Man, natural ecosystems have never ceased to be exploited and destructed. However, human beings depend on ecosystems, just as the other living creatures. As the situation is catastrophic, it is necessary to deal with and restore the deteriorated ecosystems urgently.
Facing this challenge, the World Environment Day of 2021 is entirely focusing on the restoration of the ecosystems. The celebration of this year is under the slogan of “Redevelop, recreate, restore”.
Within this framework, the Tunis Science City celebrates this day on Wednesday, June 16th. The programme during this day includes lectures with debates aiming at sensitizing the audience about the importance of ecosystems and working for improving them as they are livelihoods of the populations. They also aim at fighting against climatic changes and stopping the degradation of ecosystems.
The entry is free.
