The Tunis Science City, in partnership with REACT, CERTE and the Institute of Research for Development (IRD), celebrates the World Water Day on Saturday, March 19th, 2022.
A rich and varied programme has been elaborated on this occasion, containing different activities related to water and spread all over the day. The IRD will participate during this day with an exhibition entitled "Water at the heart of science", a lecture on "Non-conventional types of water, a sustainable path towards water security in Mediterranean countries" will be presented by CERTE, a film screening with debate, proposed by the IRD, entitled "Time to observe", produced by the Mediterranean Observatory of Rural Environment and Water (OMERE), along with scientific workshops on “The physical and chemical properties of water”, on “Heron’s fountain”, and on “Water in all its states”. The programme also includes competitive games and quizzes around the theme of water, with rewards for the participants for more motivation.
